In this amazing world there are some of the places are very wonderful and mysterious. In which one of them is Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is located in Peru. Machu Picchu was an ancient city and in this city Inca civilization's people are lived. Inca civilization is one of the mysterious civilization. Machu Picchu was first discovered on 24 July, 1911 by the famous American archeologist Hiram Bingham. In this time this city was declared as abandoned city because there is no any evidence is found that how this city was build, when this city was build and why this city was get desolate.
Many of the archeologist are believed that Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti. Machu Picchu was built between 1450-1460. Construction appears to date from two great Inca rulers, Pachacutec Inca Yupanqui (1438-1471) and Túpac Inca Yupanqui (1472-1493). Not entirely but it is said by archeologist that in 1430 Inca civilization people came to live here but when Spain attack on them and got victory, this civilization was leaved this place.

And also said it The Lost city. But many of the researchers are neglected the the theory of Hiram Bingham. And they gave their own theories. Some researchers are said that this place was a graveyard. In the period of ruler Pachacuti , the Royal workers, who were killed after termination they got buried there. But these theory was also failed after founding skeletons without buried and many of the researchers are said that this was a sacrificial place. These are the theories was given by the ancient archeological scientist.
The Modern archeological scientist are neglected the theories of ancient archeologist and they gave their own theories. And they are said that this place is not human made this place was built by aliens because the architecture of Machu Picchu was a very difficult to architect. But this theory was also neglected by Peru residents. Machu Picchu was declared as Peruvian Historic Sanctuary in 1981 and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. In 2007, Machu Picchu was voted for New Seven Wonders.
